Lieber Waldi – Hello, this is us.
After a few years of experimenting with brewing we founded ourselves in summer 2020 and started producing our first brews on larger brewing equipment. There was no real goal. We just wanted to make beer and make contacts in the Cologne beer scene. In the meantime, this small passion has become a kind of full-time hobby. Our contract brewery is growing and we are actually doubling our output almost every year. The team has changed over time. Today, Dustin, the founder, and Lars are the faces of Lieber Waldi.
We have moved away from our former focus of only wanting to appear regionally and now distribute Waldi nationwide and even in other EU countries. On Untappd, a well-known mobile app for beer ratings, we are the best-rated brewery within a radius of 75 km from Cologne, Germany. Our aim is to constantly improve and further establish ourselves as a recognized craft beer brand with a focus on beer diversity.
